Dr. Maya Vexler is a general and cosmetic dentist dedicated to transforming smiles and lives with her exceptional expertise and caring nature.

With a passion for oral health, she earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of North Carolina Adams School of Dentistry and embarked on a journey of innovation and compassion. Dr. Vexler is a member of the American Dental Association and takes advantage of continuing education in dentistry. Driven by a commitment to patient care, she constantly seeks the latest advancements in dentistry to provide cutting-edge treatments in a warm and welcoming environment.

Beyond her practice, Dr. Vexler enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and hiking!

Born and raised in Cameroon, I embarked on a transformative journey in 2005 when I moved to the United States. Settling in Richmond, Virginia, I pursued my academic ambitions at Virginia Commonwealth University, where I earned both my undergraduate and my dental degrees. This foundational education equipped me with the knowledge and skills necessary to serve my future patients with respect, compassion and expertise.

Upon completing my studies, I undertook a year of residency in Arizona, honing my practical skills in a dynamic healthcare environment. After my residency, I relocated to Dallas, Texas, where I spent five fulfilling years working as a dentist. During this time, I developed a deep appreciation for the nuances of patient care and the importance of building lasting relationships within the community.

However, my heart always remained in Virginia, my adopted state. Driven by a desire to give back to the community that welcomed me, I returned to Virginia to join the Contemporary Dentistry family in Fairfax. Here, I am dedicated to treating my patients like family, providing quality dental care, and educating them on the significance of maintaining good oral health. I am proud to be an active member of various dental associations, which allows me to stay informed about the latest advancements in dentistry and continue to grow as a professional.

While I am passionate about my work, I also believe in maintaining a well-rounded life. In my spare time, I enjoy volunteering, traveling, working out, and dancing salsa. These activities not only enrich my life but also allow me to connect with others and give back to the communities I cherish.

Today, I am more than delighted to serve my community with dignity and love, committed to making a positive impact in the lives of my patients and beyond.

Dr. Daniela Morales is a general dentist that has been around dentistry her whole life. Dr. Morales finds true joy in transforming smiles and providing great service to her patients and community. Dr. Morales is committed to providing exceptional patient care and promotion of Oral Health in her community.

Dr. Morales started her dental journey with a Pre-Dental Biology major and a minor in chemistry at VCU where she obtained her degree in just 3.5 years. She then went on to get her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from Boston University’s Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. While in dental school Dr. Morales completed an Oral and Maxillofacial Prosthetics Externship where she was exposed to difficult patient cases that involve transforming the whole face and not just the teeth. Dr. Morales is a proud member of the Hispanic Dental Association, American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentists, and Virginia Dental Association.

Outside of the dental clinic Dr. Morales enjoys traveling, adventure, and art. She is an avid hiker that has explored multiple national parks and trails along the infamous Appalachian Mountain range. Dr. Morales likes to paint in her spare time with a focus in traditional abstract oil paintings. Lastly, Dr. Morales loves spending time with her family and her dog Milly when she is not caring for her patients. Dr. Morales wants you to know that your smile means everything to her and she is dedicated to leaving a smile on each patient that sits in her chair.

Dr. Abril’s professional promise to you is trust, respect, and ethical care of your teeth, implants, and gums. He believes in dedicating the right amount of time to each patient whether it is for a consultation or a complex surgical procedure. Dr. Abril graduated from St. Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri where he received his degree in both periodontics and a Master of Science in dentistry (research). During his time as a resident, Dr. Abril was a clinical instructor at Southern Illinois University. His experience goes beyond the classroom and extends to international venues. He practiced privately for two years in Bogotá, Colombia where he holds a degree in general dentistry. He worked in a general dentistry practice in Northern Virginia for five years where he discovered his passion for periodontics and focused patient care. During his periodontal training, Dr. Abril acquired clinical experience in all aspects of non-surgical and surgical periodontal procedures including scaling and root planing (deep cleanings), bone grafting around teeth and implants, plastic surgery for teeth with gum recession and for teeth with poor gum quality, as well as crown lengthening procedures. He is fully trained in dental implant surgery, a treatment that replaces missing teeth with state-of-the-art dental implants that look and function like natural teeth. He has committed himself to improve the quality of people’s lives by treating the diseases that cause tooth loss and contribute to many overall health problems. He is also LANAP® and LAPIP™ certified which consists of the use of a periodontal laser - PerioLase ®, to conservatively (no incisions, no stitches, and better recovery) treat periodontal disease allowing significant improvements in the health of teeth and implants that were considered to have a poor-questionable prognosis in the beginning of the treatment.

Dr. Abril strives to learn new techniques to better serve his patients. He has received intensive surgical training in different countries including United States, Colombia, Mexico, and Hungary. He keeps his active status as a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. He is also a member of the American Academy of Periodontology and the Academy of Osseointegration.

Originally from Bogotá, Colombia, Dr. Abril lives in Aldie, Virginia with his wife Paola and his daughter Sarah. Dr. Abril is fluent in English and Spanish.

A Montreal native, Dr. Anne Saxena attended the prestigious McGill University before completing her DMD degree at the University of Montreal Dental School. She went on to serve her general practice residency at Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Saxena has also completed extensive training in implant surgery with International College of Oral Implantologists, bone grafting, laser periodontal surgery with the Clinical Laser Institute, and full mouth reconstruction with Nash Seminars and the Pankey Institute.

With 20 + years of clinical experience, Dr. Saxena prides herself on providing anxiety-free dental care in a modern and comfortable setting. She offers a comprehensive array of dental services. She provides general family dentistry care to preserve and protect your teeth as well as specialty treatments including dental implants, anxiety-free dentistry, and laser dentistry. Dr. Saxena is also an accomplished cosmetic dentist who creates picture-perfect smiles with veneers, crowns, and Invisalign®.

Her patients receive personalized attention and customized dental treatments to protect their dental health and improve their smiles. Her conservative approach focuses on saving and protecting your natural teeth whenever possible.

When she’s not providing expert dental care to her patients, she volunteers with charities and health care nonprofits. Dr. Saxena also enjoys spending time outdoors and traveling with her children, both locally and abroad. She’s an artist who enjoys painting, sculpting, and modern art.
